Introducing a Fresh New Design and Improved Marketplace Experience

When it comes to creating visual content at Visually, we set the bar high — and then higher. We launched the Visually Marketplace in June 2013, with the goal of becoming the largest online collaborative space for the creation of infographics and data visualizations. Five months later, with the help of 100,000 creative professionals who find work through our Marketplace and thousands of brands who come to us with their visual project needs, that goal is a reality.

Today, we’re proud to launch an improved Marketplace and Project Center, with an enhanced suite of visual solutions to our customers, including videos, presentations, interactive applications, dashboards and company reports.

Just as Airbnb, Uber and TaskRabbit have transformed the way people travel, commute and get things done, we’re disrupting traditional agency models of content creation.

Our collaborative economy model matches experienced designers from around the world, with the world’s most recognizable brands. To our clients, we offer fixed costs, lower risk, satisfaction guarantees, a wider range of talent, and projects that are completed in about a third the time — sometimes even in as little as 24 hours. As a result, brands, organizations and companies like AOL, Nike, Twitter, NBC, P&G, UNESCO, The Atlantic, Visa and Dell are finding that cloud-based collaboration helps them deliver the content they need at speed and scale.

“A flawless experience right from the get go,” said Phil Burrows, Verizon Corporate Communications. “Visual.ly brought an idea in our minds and turned it into a creative and engaging piece of art that told a story. Turning a vision into reality is not an easy business, but Visualy.ly did that for us.”

Would companies really be willing to engage the collaborative economy for their marketing needs on a worldwide scale? If our growth is any indication: Yes.

Since the launch of our Project Center in June, we’ve seen 10X growth and are on pace to maintain this trajectory into 2014.

Beyond serving as a critical resource for Fortune 1000 companies, startups and more, creative professionals are increasingly identifying us as an effective means of expanding their client base and growing their personal brand.

There are 100,000 creatives on the platform and we have paid out nearly $2 million in project fees to the designers, developers, animators and journalists who find work here. With hundreds of projects a month, no other professional marketplace has achieved this scale.

If you’re a talented creative professional – journalist, designer, developer, animator – join us! Apply to be certified on our Marketplace. And if you’re a company or brand with a story to tell: Let’s tell it Visually!
